A subsequent avira check flagged TR/Monder.deug - but apparently could not quarentine the files. I don't know if any processes were active, but I tried next to rollback the system a few days. After doing this, I could no longer start Avira or perform any scans. The trojan may have come in over Firefox. I was browsing using Firefox (which is not my usual browser) - and then later tried the update function - it was a few versions and patches behind. Any help in disabling and removing this trojan would be very helpful. It seems to be very new.
